78 precision weird original color and slight mods

Look at this only problem i see is he added in a Jazz pickup other than that amazing. Note $ are Australian so multiply it by 0.78 for US$.

Woah! That's a rare one!! I like the antigua finish, price is about $2300USD. Would be nice if it didn't had the J mod but still, nice find Grant!

I think the added jazz pickup has destroyed its price as a relic though.

The original pickup has been replaced and wiring changed, as well as the original bridge. Period correct lefty case though and the jazz pick up install is well done. Paulo is right the Antigua finish makes it a very rare find. If you like the PJ set up it would be a cool player at the right price. As is the listed price is way too much.

Most, if not all of the ones, I've seen, which were right handed, had maple necks. The rosewood board with this color I believe is a rare combination.

Don't see too many rosewood boards during this period on any color, so not too surprising it would be hard to come up with another. Could have been a special order.

Rosewood on Antigua is rare but it was offered.
