I don't know who this guy is but he has a bunch of stuff up on Reverb. He's right here in Toronto somewhere. Haven't contacted him yet. If anyone is really interested and wants an in person look-see on one of these let me know.

He's got:
Mid 90's Carvin Koa Fretless
Late 70's Rogue P Bass
Mid 80's Ibanez Roadstar II
Early 90's Peavey B-Ninety
Early 80's Vantage V-325B Avenger
2000's Spector Legend Classic 4
Plus a few guitars.

I'm tempted on a couple of them.....

I normally don't get too excited about a black finish, but that stealth Roadstar is pretty sexy.

I have had Vantage before and they are some very nice basses. All these basses look really nice, the Rouge bass really shines.

Man, that Roadstar bass has had my eye since it was posted. It perfectly matches the first true lefty guitar I ever bought... and still have -- a black Roadstar II that I bought new in 1986. It would be so cool to have a matching set, right?? I am concerned about shipping to the US with the CITES restrictions, however.

Contemplating...

The pitfalls of working from home on Friday. I pulled out my guitar and man, it would look so nice with the bass side-by-side. I messaged the seller about shipping and CITES.

jayceofbass, I might take you up on your offer to check out the Roadstar! More to come...

Yup, I'm your guy...

Apologies for not coming here first to put up my kids for adoption... tried a couple of them in the past as feelers but didn't get much traction...

RD, I had te same concern with CITES as you - that's why I held off on buying and selling anything for most of last year - but another forum member who often ships from USofA to Canada ended up convincing me that it should be OK.

In the last couple of months I've sold 8 basses and guitars and did not have any problem...

Cheers,

Jose

Hey JC

Sure thing, if you're around my turf (Weston and Eglinton), do stop by for an espresso!

Haha! Weston & Eglinton! My brother lives on Pearen St. I'm around there all the time. The Vantage is what really has my attention. I had one of those when I was a kid. I might hit you up in the near future. Cheers!
