I can say comfortably that this bass has been sitting at Jammin' Jersey Guitars in CA for at least a decade. Looks like they're finally selling their stock on Reverb. They've also had an Ibanez Roadster listed forever that's still on their website, though not listed anywhere else yet:

I'm not a fan of the pointy headstock either. Oh well, it was the 80's.

Ugh agreed. Of all the headstocks too. Then again they are asking WAY too much for it. I phoned them about it once and vowed never to phone again.

Thanks for the tip, pjmuck!
I looked up their page and the Roadster is listed for $500, still better than any other price.
So today I called them asking for pictures, they said they will take pictures of it soon and list it on Reverb, but the price has been "revised"... It's now $700. :x

This is the only picture they had.

The price increase is all your fault, Paulo, since you actually showed interest in an instrument they've had for over a decade. ;)

About six months ago, I happened to be up in the L.A. area and stopped by to check out the Guild. It was a typical 110-degree day in the valley and they have no AC in their store. The bass was way up on their wall. They had to get a ladder to reach it. The nut had come unglued, so it was unplayable. The rest of the bass seemed ok, but I would think long and hard about buying anything from a place where all the equipment has baked in triple-digit heat for years. And by the way, they couldn't find the OHSC.

Triple digit temps, bass up next to the ceiling... no Wonder the nut fell off... and yes, you've got to wonder what that's done to the rest of the bass over the years....
