A very close cousin of my 1980 4001. Almost a mirror image in fact, since mine is a righty I play inverted with a strap-lock button added on the short horn. However, I leave the strings righty.
Someone has been using it hung inverted as a right hander. See the saddle positions and filled in strap button on the short horn? Wonder what they did about the nut slots?

Someone has put the treble pickup cover back the wrong side of the springs - I don't think it should be that high.
Note the treble pickup surround rim is level on the long edges. Newer Rics have a drop in that rim under the strings for a bit more clearance. Very easy to whack the strings against that edge making an audible click even if the pickup has been lowered clear.
As stated in it's web page, those photo's have been brightened somewhat.
