Very unique bass, this one is 56 of 60 made. If your not a Beatles fan Klaus Voorman is a great artist and musician who was friends with The Beatles in the early days and most notably designed the Revolver Album cover.

Beautiful.

It looks like you pasted the link in between the "her" and "e" of "here."

But this is amazing: the lefty is $1,700 while the two righties are $3,000 and $4,000, respectively.

The "three" might be the two righties and one lefty.

While often primarily associated with the Revolver cover art, Klaus was an amazing bassist in his own right. He played on a ton of albums, including the Plastic Ono Band record and a bunch of John's solo work, a ton of Ringo's solo work, and others including Harry Nilsson and Leon Russell. At one point during the dark end stages of the Beatles, John was rumored to want to replace Paul with Klaus. (Similar to his comment about Clapton and Harrison.) Nonetheless, he's an amazingly accomplished bassist!!!

All that said, I'm not sure I dig the artwork on this bass. My verdict is still out. However, I do know I don't like the look and layout of the volume/tone knobs. But to each their own!

Saw one of these at NAMM last year (2 years ago maybe?). IMHO, it's way more stunning in person. At that time Hofner told me no lefty's would be available.

I should also say I'm one of the biggest Beatles fans on the planet!!!!! For what that's worth to my comments. :-)

I fixed the link also great reading on Klaus Voorman can be found here. As it states he started with the Beatles back in the Hamburg days and as noted on this thread did alot of his own music and art.

Here is a cool custom guitar paint job of the "Revolver Cover" that I would love to have from BeyondCustomGuitars.com.
