Hello, everyone,

I'm selling my beloved '82 Jazz. Please see the listing below and feel free to send me an offer via PM, I will give my best deal to forum members. I think the price might be a bit too much, but the bass has an "emotional fee" attached to it and I'm not a motivated seller. But I will work with you guys if somebody really wants it (and you should want it). Some of you know me and know that I've had 120,000 lefty basses, and this one stuck around for a reason. I'm only keeping my '73 P-Bass, just because I still do need at least one bass.

Thanks

Ugh that is so sweet. So the dots on the fingerboard are original?

Yup, they are original. If you do a "1982 Jazz Bass" Google image search you can see examples.

Those earlier 80's black jazz basses with
maple neck and black dots are also referred to as tuxedo
jazz basses. Dots are indeed original, replacing block inlays.

Yup they were known as tuxedo basses and some had white pickups covers. Still a great 70/80’s bass

Haha, my voice of conscience. Don't make think about it too much.

BTW, don't get scared about the listed price -- feel free to send me your best offer of what you want to pay. I won't get offended.

Worth mentioning is that I would consider a trade (partial or full) for a Rob Allen Mouse 30, or some other kind of magical short-scale. As rare as they come, I know -- I haven't seen one in many years.

Feeling motivated on this Thanksgiving day. I've been lowering the price little by little, and as I mentioned, I would give forum members the best deal. Just send your number!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
