Seriously stupendously cool vibe on this guy. A beautifully preserved piece of history.

OTOH you can buy a modern bass that plays a LOOOOOOT nicer for that kind of money.

Couldn't help but notice in enlarging the body picture, the strings aren't "splitting" the pole pieces... if they were centered, I wonder what the spacing would come out to be....

Nice! Thanks for showing it.
Saddles can slide across, so that G could be corrected, but might be close to the finger board edge if exactly centred over the poles. One of the saddle screws is loose or is an over-long replacement?
I really like those perforated pick-up covers.
