I love my '96 SB-1. This one looks like it had the pickup replaced, which makes it a no go for me. The MFD split coil is a monster :)

$900 + shipping???

I have an '88 SB-1 (split pups), all original. I would sell it for $900 + shipping.

Really?

Not sure how to do this, since photobucket changed on me.

It is IIRC a 1988, pearl-ish pickguard, rosewood f/b, black pups, and the finish is sort of a sunburst, but more of a "cherry burst" as they call it. Yellowish in the center of the body, turning red as you move to the edges, but no brown or black. Lefty, of course. It is really not for sale, but at that price.... Hmmm. :)

Pickguard is chipped at the tail, and there is a notch knocked out at the headstock (pn the back). It has been used, not kept in an airtight display case.

Photobucket is a dick, but I managed to scrape this one from one of the image links you tried to post:

I switched to Imgur instead... I posted lots of pics from the NAMM show earlier this year and it all disappeared...
Going back to the SB-1, the cherry burst you got there is really nice! :P
And I like the older 3 bolt neck plate!

Yep, that's it. The three bolt neck. Not chrome, but black crinkled neck cover on back.

I bought it used 20 years ago (???). It is much lighter and better built than my old 1983 Precision (no longer have). I thought I would always keep this one, but if those are current prices for used SB-1's, I could be persuaded. lol

I had a talk with my wife just last weekend about selling much of my equipment to get two new cabs (prolly 12" Subways) and Mesa 800+ head (whatever that is called). I have a lot of stuff, but some good stuff. I would seriously be willing to part with some things I thought were keepers, including the SB-1.

Just a thought.
