We recently had a discussion about the Fender JV bass (viewtopic.php?f=13&t=8583&p=57284&hilit=jv#p57284) and now there's one for sale! And it's in the US, so no crazy shipping costs from Japan.

I'm no expert, but the price looks "in the zone" based on the pictures and pickguard/pu mods. Based on the serial number this is probably late 83, right at the end of the JV line. I love my JV; these basses are typically the closest you can get to a pre-CBS Fender without shelling out thousands to get an original or going through the custom shop.

I've gotten a couple of basses from this seller. Easy to work with! He's been selling off a large lefty estate for a while now. The collection belonged to his bass player and friend. He's selling them for the family.
