On its way to me! I've been after a BB bass for a while. I saw the black 1990 model on Reverb (I believe it belonged to a member here), but couldn't get over the white finish. I had the guy at the GC text me some pictures and it still had plastic on the covers and he said it looks like a brand new bass. This model is a 2004 according to him (I didn't get a serial, I was just going to look at it when it got in) so I hope I made the correct choice and that there isn't a huge difference between the older and newer models of these.

I couldn't find much online but if anyone here has owned or played one and could chime in, I would really appreciate it.

Working a shift knowing that bass will be back there waiting to be played will be tough. I think this will get a fresh set of Cobalt Flats and be good to go!

Nice one! I owned a BB400 and a BB1600, and liked them both. I did find that the pickup rout on the 400 was very shallow compared to a Fender. I managed to get an Aguilar P set to fit, but the EMG Geezer set I had were too tall. Otherwise it was great for tinkering. Also, the P positions are reversed, so watch those vintage sets with a ground plate preinstalled. Enjoy!

After being told it was in perfect condition, it got here with a crack in the headstock from the E string tuning post, so I'm shipping it back to the store, so if they put this one back up online, you may want to stay away from it.
