I've noticed the prices on these getting silly, but this one seems reasonable despite showing a little age.

But I don't know what it means that it has a "twist in the neck that does not hinder performance."

"twist in the neck that does not hinder performance." - this could be caused by a poor translation to English, I believe that in any condition a Twist in the Neck would hinder performance.

I did notice that on my old G&L, once I got a proper setup, that the relief under the G is the slightest bit deeper than under the E. But it's subtle enough that I can get a medium-low action under the G with no buzzing on the E. Maybe it's in that ballpark.

Definitely the kind of thing that should be factored into the price, though.

That would be the safer bet

I had one that look exactly like the one in the first picture, however I like the one in the second picture.
They look more accurate as a 60's copy and are great basses!

I traded this one in along with a couple of other basses for a 68 Telecaster bass a few months ago. You would be hard pressed to find a better one. It's as close to NOS as it gets. It's mint. I believe it's an alder body. Most of the newer ones are bass wood.
