Damn! This is only an hour and a half from me. That is close enough to make me interested because Carmine called these a "jazz on steroids", but it is far enough to make me hesitate risking driving three hours only to find a dud.

There was one of these in really good shape in Michigan not too long ago, I think. I would really like to try one.

I've owned two, both with the SF pickups, but for me they didn't float my boat as much as my jazz bass with Lollars, FWIW. They were ok, but not as great as I'd hoped. YMMV of course.

I'ts an 80's bridge with OHSC... If you don't like it, put it up for adoption on Reverb - you may even get a little profit ;)

Of course, depending on what you drive, it could cost you $20-$60 in gas.... but still - the Reverb option is a good idea....
