Second price drop has brought this one down to $1,200. I'm now genuinely worried someone is going to nab it before I get a chance to try it (my brother and his family live 20 minutes down the road from this store).

That's a really nice acoustic!
And from the other ones I've seen this is a really good price.

D'oh, finally sold. And I missed my chance to play it when I was in Long Island a few weeks back.

Is that really market price? I have one just like it, and if I can get that much I might actually sell it!

The last price listed before it sold was $1,200, which seems to be about the going rate.

But I havent seen any others in that gorgeous dark wood.

Beautiful.

Does it play as well as it looks?

It does, but honestly I rarely ever use it.

You have no idea. Here he is at 15 months with a bottle he took out of the recycling bin so he could drink the swill.

Luckily I have no alcoholism in my family, so I don't have to worry too much. (My wife did take the bottle away after she got the picture.)

That's too bad. I'm not picking mine up daily anymore (I bought a couple of fancy amps and have been playing with those), but weekly at least.

I owned a Martin acoustic about 10ish years ago. It had the spruce top though. Played and sounded fantastic. I highly recommend someone scooping this up. That mahogany top is lovely too.

It's back:

Two hours closer and $100 cheaper. Looks like I might have to take a drive over the holidays....

I have one as well strung with TI Flats and a one of a kind gloss top. I love it, especially through a very transparent amp such as the Acoustic AER or my Phil Jones Double Four. It always gets compliments when I play it out by non-musicians. Southpaw Guitars has it, but at a much higher price. You could call them and see if you can talk them down on price.

Now down to $990. I wonder if there's something wrong with it.
