Not sure of the sellers description but I believe this is a Fender Japan Bass with Rosewood neck. I recently purchased one of these with a Maple/Maple neck and added an Anodized gold pick guard.
Fender Japan makes great basses for the price.

This one used to be mine. I installed the SD Bassline Quarter Pounder P pickup. It does indeed have a Jazz neck. Good playing/sounding Fender Japan bass.
