Always liked the look of these basses (reminds me of my Alembic Epic), and this seems like an absolutely killer price!

I got one of these basses, I picked it up off Philly Craigslist about 5 years ago. I knew nothing about them until I saw the add, I am not a 5 string guy but for the price it's a great bass. Tone is very good, plays very nice. I would agree it's kinda ugly but it kinda grows on you.

There's a fretless, J-style one at NJ Guitar and Bass, but it's more than double the price.
