 Post subject: Spector Legend 5

I'm not a fan of 5 string basses but i've seen people looking for spectors, not legends but here it goes anyway!

Legends are good basses if you upgrade the pickups and preamp. The side jack is a little weak but it can easily be upgraded.

I upgraded my legend 5 and had it painted black. Its a great player.

Paulo, if you are in US or closer to the boarder you may try keeping an eye on GC. I'm 1 1/2 hour from the boarder (Canada) and snatched a Legend 4 (pics @ show me your SPECTOR thread) and a 1991 Foundation. It takes patience, thou...

Here are some quick pics. It's my beater. All dented and scratched up. I love it. Upgraded Black paint, Aguilar OBP3 Preamp + Metal knobs, EMG 40DC (white), and HipShot tuners, schaller straplocks and some custom black pearl dots from ebay user Jockomo. The neck is ultra straight. I gig this more than most. His name is Stimpy!
