Gorgeous. Curious to see if it sells at that starting price.

The Alembic Spoiler stands out in my mind because the one I handled way back in the day had the most comfortable neck I have ever put my hands on. I have always wanted one but never seriously enterained the thought because of the price. That price is amazing, it will be interesting to see what it actually goes for.
I sure wish I had the money for that one!

I'm watching it too - a lefty Alembic short/medium scale is one of those basses I simply must own eventually...but I'm betting this one doubles in price by the time it sells, and unfortunately it won't be me paying that much for it.

That looks more like a Signature Standard, no?

I thought Spoilers looked like this...

Yeah, I noticed that too, but signatures are also way more expensive. I think it's probably a signature body with the Spoiler electronics, which are cheaper than the signature electronics...and WAY cheaper than the Series I/II electronics.

I'll bid on this if my meeting with William Morris / Endeavor goes well on Monday...

Well I bid at the last second, but apparently didn't have as deep of pockets as the other bidders. I think someone got a very good deal on an Alembic!
