I used to have one of these MIJ 85' basses. Mine had a beautiful flame maple neck. I don't believe there were a lot of these made in 32".

Think I fetched 300$ on eBay years ago. Not a bad bass but unsure what the body wood was.

Wow, I never heard of this store and cool that they are in NYC, also I like they have a left handed menu. They have several lefty basses and guitars.
