I just bought this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEFT-Handed-BAS ... 3ce03c086a

Probably a piece of crap, but I've always liked the Iceman look (AFAIK, Ibanez never made lefties) and I've been interested in getting my feet wet with a DIY project for a while, so we'll give this a go. Wish me luck!

Well, I guess that just depends on how good your luthier skills are

Just kidding, there's only so much you can do when the wood has been pre-cut.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes! What kind of finish do you think you'll put on it?

Looks like a fun project, and for the price, no matter what happens, you're not out much... will be interesting to see what the finished bass looks like!

I'm also a fan of the Iceman body shape. Good ruck!

The hollow body looks interesting. I'm looking forward to your review.
