Pbasses didn't have blocks. That was a Jazz thing.

I seem to recall that there were a few rare PBasses that had blocked necks at some point in the earlyish 70s. I'd have to research it to be sure though.

I'm a sucker just as much as the next guy for a vintage 100% original fender bass, clean or mojo'd, but at what point do we look at something like this and say, "I wouldn't pay more than $100 for that beat up old neck"? 'Cause that's what I'm thinking right now..

Shit man. I barely have 1200 in my '78 Jazz I bought last year. When people part these 70s models out, they get delusional.

I think sellers figure they can post an insanely high BIN price as long as they're also accepting offers.

Maybe that works, but when a seller posts an insanely high BIN price, I really don't feel too inclined to make any offer.
