 Post subject: 75' Fireglo RIC on the bay..... severe heat damage?

The finish looks like it's been stored in a case in a hot climate for years or pulled out of a flood. Neck finish looks yellowish. I would be concerned and request a 48 hour trial period. :shock:

That's some bad mold eating away at the finish. The neck appears to be delaminating too. THRASHER!!!

I can see that. A friend of mine had his neck-through Spector sit in water for a few days because of a basement flood, and the neck came apart and all. . . it was a mess, a lot worse than the Ric in question. But a good tech/luthier put if back together better than new without much trouble.
