Anybody dealt with this place in the past?

Anybody in the area that could stop by and play the bass and let us know if it's a dud or a player?

That would be very appreciated.

Thx!

I've bought a few basses from them. Their customer service is pretty neutral: they are not a-holes, but not specially welcoming in any way. I'm always begging them to give exact weighs of basses I'm interested in, and always have had a hard time. It seems they have all the basses in storage and it's a pain for them to pull them out and get them to where the scale is. So I gave up on them a while ago. If I can't know the exact weight of a bass before buying it, I won't buy it.

But kudos to them for always trying to keep stock of lefties.

That '58 CS looks delicious, BTW, although I'm not a fan of 1.75"-nut necks, or $4000 P-Basses. ;)

I once went to their store when I was in Denver. I was expecting wall-to-wall guitars, but instead they had most of their guitars in another room, not on display. Since I was not serious about purchasing something, I didn't bother asking for something specific. Overall neutral experience, but I do respect that they stock tons of lefties.

I also visited their store. The owner told me most of their stock is in a separate warehouse so you should call ahead so they can get you the bass you want to try out. He also told me most of his business is on-line. I bought a bass from them on-line prior to the visit; the transaction was smooth.
