Pretty rare, but not that nice. . . Truss rod nut is pushed in all the way. Chances are that neck won't setup well and will need work. :x

....along with the binding being cracked right in the same area. Not a good sign.

Definitely not cheap! I would have a little bit of an issue paying something like that for a neck. Call me crazy if you must.

I am a sucker for lollipop tuners, though. So vintage! I was hoping to get those for my custom bass build, but couldn't find them for a reasonable price.

FYI, Hipshot will make you lefty lollipop tuners, if i'm not mistaking, either in ultralight or the normal big plate. Doesn't hurt to ask. And they probably be around $30 each.

I think that all '60s Fender were made using Brazilian rosewood, no? It looks pretty dark to me, which is what most Brazilian rosewood looked at the time. I'm no historian or expert, though.
