I have Zero cash but this on the "I want one of these some day" list.

Remember I have done this before, if you purchase from guitar center at a remote location, rather then having them ship to your house and waiting, signing ect (I hate waiting for UPS). In most cases you can purchase on line and then they can ship to a store in your area. You would only need ID to pick it up at your local store. Check with them first but this is a nice way to pick up your bass.
