Saw that.
My question is what kind of use was supposed to cause the relicing along the bottom edge?

What, you've never used a bass as a weedwacker? :|

Haha. Nooooo! This bass has several things I'm not into: flags, nationalism, a bad relic job and an inflated price based on said relic job. But I still find it strangely appealing. ;)

Same here! It's a weird feeling, but I've considered buying it a couple of times already. Thank god for my wife, who would kill me if I did.

As a vexillologist, I'm interested.

IF it wasn't reliced or,
IF it were more realistically reliced, and,
IF I didn't have too many Jazzes already....

As a Brit who can't spell vexillwhateveritis to save his life, i also find it intriguing :) Perhaps best left to those wishing to start a Def Leppard tribute band ? Sadly I have neither the flowing locks, Sheffield accent nor tight trousers for that to be a possibility... and the Wife would laugh at me.

I don't get "relicing". can't you just treat your shit like shit?
I hab this bass amp that I got for practically nothing and my band used it for a mic in our practice space. (poor mans pa)
that amp was reliced reeeaaaalll quick. I didn't even have to break out the sand paper.

best part is the description:

* Being the fact that it's in USED condition. The guitar might appears to have some wear.

"some wear" oh really?

My immediate thought when I saw this was The Who, followed by Oasis. :)

Well I personally think it's cool, but there's something about a Yankee displaying British envy that's almost as corny as a Brit sporting a Lynyrd Skynyrd Confederate flag. ;)

If it was a flag of The Confederacy, or of Texas, I'd get it!
