I don't have experience with these basses, but I always thought they looked cool.

Interesting. Anyone has any idea what these things sound like?

They sound really good, especially the fretless ones. Check youtube for some vids.
I remember when those first came out, I always thought they were in the "so-ugly-it-looks-cool" category. :D

I dunno much about the basses, but I have a Guild S-60 guitar and it's unbelievable kickass in tone, playability and retro-cool vibeyness.

I thought about selling it a while ago... but it's worth way more to me than the market would ever bear.

Here's a quick quote from JMJ:

What piece of your “rig” can you not live without?

‘66 Precision and a Guild Starfire. No way can I do what I do without those.

Someone bought it. Anyone here?

I have a B-302 and consider it a poor man's Ric because of the killer midrange tones that come from those phat single coils.

But it also has great low end. Maybe the best low end fundamental of all basses I've owned. It's all mahogany with a set baseball-bat neck and thick ebony board.

I'd love to hear what the B-301 sounds like. I thought the price was just a tad high but not by much.

My only complaints are the neck dive and... I'm not a fan of the looks. :)
