Seller has it titled Custom Shop but I put that in parentheses ...

Anyone seen something like this before?

Custom Edition Fender Japan?

Aside from that crappy bridge, that's a cool bass!

Missing all the frets... and a pickguard too!

I've seen some listing in the past where people describe the high-end MIJ as "Custom Shop" but this is the first time I see a "Custom Shop, Special Edition" decal from Japan. Looks like a great bass. That transparent white is just beautiful, and they picked a really nice piece of ash for the body.

I recall a "Jaco bass" being made in Japan. This looks like a non-burst Jaco bass (fretless with no pg) to me.

Great color.

Any bass I've had that had a BAII on it is basically unplayable. I just don't get the appeal.

It says "Bad Ass" right there on the bridge.

And you don't get the appeal?

Clearly, you're intimidated. ;)
