Can anyone tell if this is a USA or Tribute? Is there an easy way to tell?

I don't think they make 5 string lefty Tributes, do they? Pretty sure this is a USA bass.

I don't think they make lefty Tributes either - and that is a good deal! It would say tribute series on the headstock if it was a tribute - you could ask for a closeup.

They do make lefty 4 string Tributes. All natural finish with rosewood fingerboards.

I'd be all over that if I was in the US, wanted that exact model G&L for a long time & it's a great price. :(

I am going to be checking it out this weekend. It could be my first five string.

Good luck. Let us know how it is either way.

I now own my first five string. The bass is in very good shape but does some minimal cleanup. It is a USA bass and is about 10 years old.

It will take some time to get used to the closer string spacing and the fact that the top string isn't E.
