Decent price at $1500. But one may want to watch out for flood or water damage... post Sandy

However, seller is saying pickup only and cash only, they need money. Could be legit.

There is a new 4003 on Ebay for $18xx. I rather spend the extra money and get a new bass under warranty. Of course, there is the quality issue.
