Boy, I'd love to play this! Check out the sweet (semi?) hollow body posted over on Arnis's site, http://www.leftybass.com/secondhand_offer_44.htm

13K worth of drooling... :)

Is it someone here selling it?

The asking price is very optimistic....especially if they do release this new Gibson Midtown..I cross my fingers for that

I haven't been paying attention to the instrument market in the past few years (no gas pains!). The Gibson Midtown looks really cool.

Are there rumors of a lefty version? I am back into guitars, and the one thing I am looking for is a semi-acoustic.

"Auwe"! - is the word here in Hawaii that best describes the price of this bass... which in a sense means "Oh my God"!, or "Holy shit"!, or... you get the gist.... beauty, but is it worth that price?

I have a '69 EB2 lefty in Cherry. I'm thinking I've seen that one before, I think that guy might have a big collection. Guy I bought mine from was selling a '60 back around 1993, might be this one.
