Technically an EB3, since the SG model was never offered left handed. But from what I can see it looks legit. Most copies you see attempt to copy the pre-70's EB3 neck PUP position at the heel of the neck. This one's got the true 70's position. I'd get a headstock photo and possibly serial # ASAP from the guy if you can, and also find out if any other mods were done other than the Badass bridge (which should have required drilling) and the Schallers. |

Thanks for your input PJ. I'm not a huge fan of Gibson basses (although I did own a new RD Artist that I bought in the late 70's and converted to lefty. That was a great sounding bass and one of the first to utilize active EQ) Just wanted to make sure no one got scammed. |

Are you sure you wanna know?  It looked to be a legitimate '74 lefty EB3 with a Badass bridge and Schaller tuners added. There were no headstock photos or serial number indicated. The asking price was $650, which would have been a major steal if the bass were authenticated. |
