That there is what's typically referred to as a 'bass-shaped object'. A setup would cost more than the bass.

It either is unplayable/sounds awful or it's actually..god forbid...a good deal on Ebay. By coincidence I saw a lefty upright player last week doing jazz with another beater - although not this beat - and he told me it was still an expensive piece of furniture.
