Price seems a little high but bass looks to be in very good condition.

Geez! It's brand new! Like if you could time travel and pick up the bass from the store in 1975... just add one digit to the price tag.

If I was going to pay $3500 for a Fender P-Bass, it'd be a team-built Custom Shop to my exact specs before it would be anything from the 70's.

I felt the same way about Jimmy's 75 P bass. (Jimmy from Southpaw Guitars). It was just a beautiful bass that was as heavy as a boat anchor, ohh but so sweet. I think he wantes $3000 for his, and it had a maple board.

Same bass was listed on ebay until a few days ago for 2900$ (matching serial numbers)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 823wt_1413

Is it the same seller under a different profile or someone bought it from warpdrive and is trying to make a profit????

I was wondering if that was the same bass. thanks for diggin up that info.

It is not the same seller, they are two very different organizations, with very different philosophies. I would not be surprised if there was some horse-trading going between them. ;)
