$500,000? Must be a typo. It has two extra zeroes.

This guy must have been traveling in time to the year 2280, and came back to 2010 with those prices in mind. It's understandable, I see it happen on eBay all the time. . .

I'm sure a righty guitarist will buy it and add a strap button to the lower horn so they can be like Jimi Hendrix. ;)

I could SWEAR that is the same unit from last year when someone wanted a million dollars for it. I had to delete a lot of pics from my photobucket, or I would repost the pics when the previous ( or same ) seller had about 5-6 close up pics of the broken tailpiece and knob.....

that's the one. This guitar has generated one heck of a lot of discussion on various bulletin boards. My take on it the owner has been learning his pricing policies from GroovyGuitars or Chicago Music Echange.

lol AZ, ya that is too unique looking to be another one floating around the internet...
Imagine you or me going to buy a 100,000 antique car with only one picture to go by...what a moron, and a joke...

what kills me with laughter every time on that and many many others with 4, 5 and 6 figure prices is that they want the BUYER to also pay shipping, but regardless of the shipping ther is NO carrier that's gonna insure something like that for 1/2 a million with a small ship charge as some of these retards put in their ads.
that's the funny part about it...
obviously If I could afford something that expensive on a whim for whatever reason I wanted it, I would also have enough money for a plane trip and hotel costs even if I got there and said no thanks so perhaps that is what that goof is thinking anyway...I dunno......

I do a good bit of buying and selling on the bay. If you are familiar with it then you know full well he doesn't expect anyone to buy it from or through eBay. It is however the best means of worldwide exposure and advertisement for about 3 to 4 dollars you could ever get. I buy 25% to 40% of higher priced items off the bay but that's where I find them. The high price tag will make people who don't understand or not have $20 in their checking accounts to go away and serious buyers will contact him directly. This is done like this more so with cars and land and is common. I’m not 100% sure but if there was a serious buyer he would know pretty well what exactly it would go for and he would “get it” the whole half mill thing being a non actual asking price. :|

ya I guess it is no different than someone relisting a 500.00 bass 25 times if that is what they want for it...
