No affiliation with the seller. Yesterday, I stopped by Starving Musician in Santa Cruz and got to try it. It is in a very good condition. No apparent damages or dings. The neck is straight and everything is functioning perfectly. I am not a 5 string guy but if you are, this is one great sounding bass. It has the typical full yet snappy sound of an Alembic.

This is virtually identical to the '96 I bought a few years ago for $1000. A great bass for that kind of money. This listing would be a good score for someone if it stays around that price.
