If I had $1500 I'd have bought it by now; unfortunately, I lost my job the day after this was posted. I don't know if he's willing to ship it, but from what they've been getting on ebay, I figure it's worth asking him about.

I'm in Tampa, about 90 minutes south of G-ville. If I understand what you're getting at, then yes, I'm within driving distance, I have several boxes here that'll fit that bass, and yes, i'm currently unemployed, so I'd be willing to pick it up and ship it if the seller won't ship. All I ask is you cover my gas. As opposed to GAS, which isn't nearly as cheap.

Hey Dan,
Thanks for the offer, that's pretty rad of you. I don't have the funds right now but I'd love to get it. I was just curious as to how handy to the bass you were. An in hand report would've been cool, but you aren't that close unless you're going to buy it, not just try it.

True that. Do you have something else lined up Dan? Was this a surprise to you or did you know your job was ending?

It was a surprise, and I haven't gotten anything else lined up yet.

I called the seller. She sounded like a cute 20-year old college student. I asked her to e-mail me some pics, but she had to borrow a camera and did not have Internet all the time . . . She said it had a few scratches.

It's a great deal, if you are somewhat local. If it's clean enough I'm sure you can sell it on eBay to somebody in Europe for at least $2000.
