Potential lefty deal on Amazon = $315

I have a lefty acoustic electric bass from this brand that is super solid.

This seems like a solid deal when you factor in the pickups, hardware, and gig bag (this doesn't include the neck and body):

That does seem like a good deal, especially considering they're asking twice as much for their righty model. I own a Sawtooth Tele copy, which I took apart for various parts. It was more than decent, a little on the heavy side, but certainly well worth the $149? I paid. I love the look of their Rudy Sarzo acoustic bass model too.

Here's the only demo I could find of the bass. Sounds very good, especially the bridge pickup. I'm curious why he didn't demo any slapping, however:
