That price is substantially lower than previous T-Bird offerings. I wonder why.

It doesn't say USA made. Does Gibson manufacture any instruments overseas?

My only experience with modern Gibson basses is the SG reissue of the EB-3 (sort of )
that I had about 5 years ago. The USA build quality was excellent as was the bridge
but I could never get comfortable with the body shape.
