It's in Italy Hopefully Albert Guitars won't buy it and list it for 3K
Body is from 81 and the neck from 91.
At that price it's still a great deal.

Love the walnut finish. I think the vintage (Leo era) L1000 is the best bass G&L ever made. (Can't vouch for the newer ones). It's astounding how huge and loud these passive basses are. Will stomp all over your wimpy guitarist and his Marshall stacks and make him cower in a corner in a fetal position. Somebody grab it up.

Hey guys, I bought it, it is huge and heavy as hell! It sounds great, the neck is from 1998.

Thanks Paolo for the link!

Congrats. I think those are the best basses G&L ever made. Revolutionary for it's time, and powerful enough to make an obnoxious guitarist cower in the corner. Surprised it's heavy. I thought they were known for being pretty light. (The ash ones in particular). Enjoy!
