I distinctly remember when a big box store- possibly Musician's Friend, was blowing these Hot Rod P-basses out for 500 bucks. I really wasn't interested, but I SHOULD have bought one.

I had one in orange, and sold it to a member 10? years ago. I never bonded with it, but had I known the orange ones would be hard to find today I might have held on to it.
