Pricing is steep, especially considering the body was refinished (according to the description this was done before 1975) and there are bits of corroded metal here and there that look like the bass has seen its share of moisture or damp. The neck and tuners have clearly suffered more than the body and the metal parts on the body. And then there's the strap button on the wrong side...

But still, that's a pretty rare sight!

Puh, the pickguard is also non original I would guess. Pics are quite bad for asking 6k Euros.
The Decal on the headstock leaves a miracle, if it was the old 68 Telecaster decal or the new one. Looks even it is a completely new decal on...
All in all a players bass and not a collectors dream. I guess half of the price would be realistic....

And there's way too many vowels in the description.

Pass.

I'm not sure, but I think this one is back up for sale. Still same seller, who claims he owned it since 1975. Still as above: refin, newer pickguard, definitely a player and not a collector's bass. No asking price this time, it says "make an offer", but I expect it won't be cheap.

Hi all,
this bass was bought from a Dutch guy from a Dutch guy and is back for sale (seems he wants to make some quick money)
Just came up on Arni's website
http://www.leftybass.com/d_start.htm

The new owner did some investigation and setup and is planning to sell it now for around 6500-7000 Euros, he told me.
Unfortunately it's an old poly black refinish, seems that it was blond originally. So this is a LOT of money for a refin.
Nevertheless, these Telecaster left handed are rare.
