That's correct! Being in Europe, I figured it wouldn't be worth it posting them here, but if somebody's interested, forum members will get a better price!

Thanks Matt. It's a real looker. I know some don't like tort on LPB, but I kinda dig it. Backstory about this bass: I bought this bass because I wanted a stack knob for an upcoming project. I once had a Lakland Joe Osborn with stacked knobs. Although its neck finish was superbly done, I didn’t bond with its tone and response, but, from hearing other players with stack knobs, I knew I love the tone of a stack knob. So when this appeared, I bought it almost immediately (after when I was told the weight, 'cause I don't like 'em too heavy). With this bass, I was and am getting the tone and response I was looking for. It really sounds very good and records very well. Long story short: I rehearsed with it a few times at my house, but a few months later, because of Covid, the project was cancelled, which made the bass sitting in its case most of the time, as my main / ‘general' players were (and, at the moment, still are) other basses.

If this gets sold, I’m surely going to miss it every once and a while, of that I’m sure, but I’ve got a few basses still coming, so I’ve got to make some room. Although I’m a semi-pro/pro player, I’m not one for having 50 basses (as some of my colleagues and maybe some here do). I like to look at their collections and talk about the subtle differences, but if my bass stand is filled, something has to go before another can be added. Since I've got one coming, I'm making some room.

That being said, it’s one of the nicest sounding passive jazz basses I ever played - whilst looking incredibly cool as well, IMHO, and while I don't need a passive jazz at all times, I remember a black ’67 with matching headstock for sale on Arni’s website for about 4k euro, but that was maybe 15 years ago. It was refinished but had the original electronics. That one still haunts me sometimes. Well (luckily), we can’t always have everything.
