Explorer style bass. I think I've only seen one or two others before (see thread I posted back in 2015). Aftermarket neck? Nothing on the headstock:

I own one, though it's the body only.
I put an Aria Cardinal series neck on it.
These basses have a 32" scale length.
It did not come with the stock neck.

The shorter scale helps with balance. Fun
bass to play.

That red explorer is a thing of beauty. What a great bass!
White one on ebay’s cool too.

As a general rule I don’t do pointy basses but this is killer 8-)

I been looking for this body style for a while, something metal. Let me know if you get bored of it. john@fastestlsx.com

Thanks! I'm looking for a heavy metal style bass, explorer or flying v, or anything along those lines. but not low end stuff that I would have never bought new, has to be decent.
