Yup, they’re out there. I have a 66/68 P with oval tuners.

seems a little pricey for a refinish, IMO.

Yep. My first though too, but there are so few that come up it's really hard to know for sure. On one hand, it's around the prices I've seen for Custom Shop and Master Built models. On the other hand there is the opinion that they are over priced. It will be interesting to see if it gets a starting bid and what the market will bear.

I’d say pricey, but mostly because I’d bet the amount that bass costs that the truss rod is maxed, or very close. Check that pic out.

Yep, Lollipops on mine. Also dated Feb 5, 1967!
Still plays great. Use it every day, sittin' right next to me.

Good point Matt. That would need clarification.

Matt - in the 4th picture, the action looks a little bit high in the top half, and in the bottom half, it looks like a slight bow in the neck (although that could just be a distortion in the picture itself...), and in the 10th picture of the trussrod nut it certainly looks as if it's deep in the hole, but if the neck needs to be relieved to take that bow down a bit, backing the nut out could be a good thing, right?... as it doesn't look like the neck is back-bowed... thoughts?

Well, backing the nut out is what allows for more relief so it would only get worse if there’s a bow

Very true... I was thinking from the right side of my brain... wrong thing to do! :)
