Due to the fact it needs quite a bit of TLC and some workshop time, I'm willing to offer £200 inc. shipping.

Wow, what an ass.

Nice looking bass though!

What can I tell you? I do seem to recall saying on another thread that Scotland is a strange place! Bad news for me as well, as my ancestors all come from that part of Scotland - and the less said about them the better!

I was actually a bit tempted myself - don't have any Japanese basses but do have a lovely '72 RI MIJ Telecaster and a '57 RI MIJ Strat, both of which are excellent instruments. Don't have any need for one right now though - my MIM Jazz does the job that this would do.

+1. I have an E-series Strat, and love it to death (although I did perform a lot of modifications to it, I must admit). They were the first all-Japanese series after the JV and SQ, that had some USA-made hardware and electronics, but still share the incredible build quality and finish of the mythical JV and SQ series.

Additionally, have you also seen this JV Jazz on eBay?

Been speaking to the seller about it. Don't really need it but may make an offer anyway - gotta be worth more than £200 ($320) surely. Anybody got any further thoughts?
