No price. I know that someone else around here was looking for one (and got one), but in case someone else is looking.

I would love it, but I need to downsize, not acquire more! :D

That jazz bass doesn't look too bad either.

Did you notice the ATK has the original clear EQ plaque under the knobs? Good thing I just bought one, and don't live anywhere near New York; I'd buy that one for the EQ plaque alone! Please tell me I'm not sick.... :(

Buy the one with the plaque and sell your one without it. :D

Andrew and Jeroen,

both excellent suggestions! I'm going to hold out for the holy grail.... an ATK305L!!!

At this point, I'm seriously considering buying a righthanded ATK305, making my own lefty body, and swapping the neck and hardware over! And I've got the skills and tools to do it! Ahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.....

OK, I'm better now...... ;)

I'm still keeping my eyes open for you, if I ever spot a nice 305 I'll let you know!
I've just joined another metalband two weeks ago (http://www.myspace.com/annatarnl) and have rehearsed with them three times now and tried several of my basses to see how they 'work' in that band, and the ATK305 fits like a glove. I've set it up slightly lower and it plays great and sounds great.

I appreciate you keepin' an eye out for me Jeroen. Good luck in the new band.... Have you seen the Joe Bonamassa "Live at the Rock Palast" DVD? The bass player, Eric Czar, is playing an ATK305. Here's a link:

He's a great bassist, and has a cool video up on youtube playing a 7-string Conklin - this is one of them... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfH-QKD7 ... re=channel

This one is cool too....

K.... nuff for now!

Hey, that be me!

I brought both of them down to the wonderful Mazzotti Music guitar and bass store in my neighborhood in Brooklyn, because my apartment is being painted and no amps are here, plus shipping is way too much of a PITA for me, so I'll let them do it.

If anyone's in the vicinity of 3rd Ave and President, check them out. 718-715-1420. If I could find the receipts I could rattle off the top of my head what the prices are. $350 for the ATK and $500 for the Jazz? Shake the rafters, which is much more than you could do in my apartment anyway. And ask what I asked for them.

It's really a thinning of the herd of two basses from the first burst of the net, when it was so amazing to find out about a lefty instrument a million miles away, that when you did you, um, kinda bought it. The ATK, the neck's just too massive for me, and I turned out to be a staunch P bass guy, so if the Warmoth was a P I'd keep her, but, eh. I guess the fact that I've been using an Ashbory nearly exclusively for a decade means I can whittle the rest to three others that I never play instead of five. I thought having the ATK for the low B-E-A-D would be useful, but I just never got involved in anything since then that the Ashbory hasn't covered to everyone's happiness.
