I think I was in the middle of typing up my post when you posted this.  So what do we think? I dig some of the J colors, but the biggest issue I had with my Am Pro P was the neck ('63 neck not comfy for me) and the poorly rounded frets. What's the expression? "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me?" |

Your post is better. More detailed hahah. I think they look good. I had my hands on a few Pro models. They were all stellar. Glad they’re doing the Jazz in Oly White, even though I’m all set there. |

I like it however Fender can drive me crazy! Why is the J bass offered in 4 colors and the P Bass only offered in 3 colors? I agree Olympic White is great and I like the Miami Blue however why not offer the Miami Blue on the P Bass like the J bass, Strat ect? https://shop.fender.com/en-US/electric-basses/precision-bass/american-professional-ii-precision-bass-left-hand/0193942706.html

Underwhelming IMO. To Bob's point about the limited color choice. Seems like a Fender marketing strategy to steer customers(especially us lefties) to the slightly higher end Mod Shop offerings if you want anything beyond the standard models. |

A brand spanking new Fender bass does have a certain allure. I like the white P. If that was a PJ I would probably be won over. How much did the prices go up from the last model? |
