Rare and beautiful, but way overpriced as usual. Recent righties in better condition have sold for $1000 or less.

Anybody else notice the ridiculous asking prices for instruments lately? I blame the Japs, who list hundreds of things at absurd prices and thus have created the illusion that that is what the instrument should be worth. I'm seeing late 70's Fender Js an Ps with asking prices over $4000. Fucking ridiculous.

Yep! It's gotten so bad that when I do a search on Ebay I filter out the Japan crap. Not only are the prices unrealistic and misleading, but there is way too much volume to wade through!
