Very very cool. The SB series basses were really solid, excellent, well-crafted instruments. They're all on the heavy side (10+lbs?), and they all have an odd (but not unwieldy) neck profile with virtually no taper from nut to heel.

Someone should snatch this up despite the pricey shipping cost. As vintage instruments continue heading north of affordability, you can still invest in brands like Aria Pro or G&L relatively inexpensively and have an instrument that will climb (albeit slower than a Fender or Gibson) in value as well.

I don't know much about these but I thought they had cool proprietary pickups like the 1000s but that looks like an emg 35 style case to me?

Good thing you've noticed!
I looked up and it seems like this one has indeed a different pickup.
