New to me too.... Believe it or not I found them totally by random as I was browsing the PLEK website and they showed up as a CA shop who had a PLEK rig.. Dunno the back story but the basses sure look Purdy.. And they have multiple lefties, none of which are black :D

Comments seem mostly, if not all favorable. Thanks for digging and for the tip on a cool source for "non standard" looking lefties! Let us know if you get one...

I like that Pbass style fretless with PJ pickups in righty, if something like that comes up on lefty (not fretless) i would like to give it a try!

I had this particular bass for a minute:

http://www.bassmods.com/Discounted-Crem ... p_699.html

The flaw in this one is that there is a filled in rout where a soapbar or humbucker or whatever was installed, but you can still see a slight outline where the finish sinks into it. It's not horrible but it was too much for my dumb OCD brain to handle.
Seems like this happens from time to time, because I've seen several of their "blem" models described in the same way. Other than that, the bass played magnificently.
I'd definitely give them another try as long as I knew that wouldn't be an issue again. But the return was hassle free and that guy is super nice and the customer service rules.
